These recommendations, reportable by the joint ACI-ASCE Committee 343 on Concrete Bridge style, give presently acceptable guidelinesfor the analysis and style of bolstered, prestressed, and part prestressed concrete bridges supported the state of the art at the rime of writing the report. The provisions suggested herein apply to pedest rian bridges, main road bridges, railroad bridges, airdrome taxi strip bridges, and alternative special bridge structures.
