Calculation of depth and width of continuous beam:- Total depth = effective depth + diameter of bar/2 + clear cover size. Width of beam = Depth/1.5 ( width of beam should not be less than 200 mm). Total depth of beam = effective depth + diameter of bar/2 + clear cover size.
