Dreaming, creating, and innovating are aspects of human nature. Each of us aspires to work that fulfills us, whether it be creating a masterpiece of literature, discovering something new, fortifying our communities, or tending to the ailing. All of us have an innate desire to connect with the essence of our work. Today, however, we spend an excessive amount of time slaving away at tasks that drain our creativity, time, and energy. To reconnect to the soul of our work, we don’t just need a better way of doing the same tasks. New methods of working are required.
Today, we are bringing the power of next-generation AI to work. Introducing your job copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot. It combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your data in the Microsoft Graph and the Microsoft 365 apps to transform your words into the most powerful productivity tool on the planet.
According to Satya Nadella, chairman and CEO of Microsoft, “today represents the next significant step in the evolution of how we interact with computing, which will profoundly change the way we work and unleash a new wave of productivity growth.” “With our new copilot for work, we’re empowering individuals and expanding access to technology through the most pervasive interface — natural language.”
Microsoft 365 incorporates Copilot in two different ways. It collaborates with you and is integrated into the Microsoft 365 applications you use on a daily basis, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more, to free imagination, boost productivity, and develop skills. We’re also launching a brand-new service today called Business Chat. Business Chat enables you to do things you’ve never been able to do before by integrating with the LLM, the Microsoft 365 apps, and your data, including your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and contacts. Tell my team how we updated the product strategy is one of the natural language cues you can give it, and it will produce a status update based on the morning’s meetings, emails, and chat threads.
You always maintain control when using Copilot. You decide what to keep, modify or discard. You can now use Word and Excel more analytically, PowerPoint more expressively, Outlook more productively, and Teams more collaboratively.
