Autodesk 3ds Max Design
Autodesk 3ds Max Design was a specialized version of Autodesk 3ds Max, which was targeted towards architects, engineers, and designers who worked on architectural and building design projects. It had all the features and tools of Autodesk 3ds Max, but with additional tools and functionalities specific to architectural visualization.
3ds Max Design allowed designers to create highly detailed 3D models of buildings, interiors, and landscapes. It had tools for creating parametric objects such as stairs, windows, doors, and walls, which made the process of building architectural elements faster and more efficient.
Additionally, 3ds Max Design included lighting analysis tools that could help designers visualize the effects of natural and artificial lighting on the interior and exterior of a building. The software could simulate natural light, such as sunlight and skylight, and artificial light, such as lamps and spotlights, to create realistic lighting scenarios.
Although Autodesk 3ds Max Design is no longer a standalone product, many of its features and tools have been incorporated into Autodesk 3ds Max and other Autodesk design software applications, such as Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.
